Part 3: The Destruction of the Evil

After examining Irina's library, Father Arno is even more determined to follow "the Path of the Dragon" to destroy the evil at its source. Father Arno returns to Vladoviste to continue his investigation and discovers that Janos Pekmester, the archeologist, is actually a German agent following "the Path" too.

To pass the last trials of "the Path", Father Arno has to go to the Castle of Twilight. With the help of Luana, the Bohemian, he manages to enter the castle through the catacombs. There he meets Janos Pekmester, trapped as he couldn't solve a trial. Janos accuses Maria of being responsible for all the crimes that happened since Father Arno arrived and proclaims his innocence. Father Arno frees Janos and continues the trials alone.

At the last trial Father Arnos finally comes face to face with... Dracula! Unexpectedly, Father Arno finds Maria and discovers that she is actually one of the Dragon's maids, although she helped Father Arno from the start. She advises him to answer Dracula's questions wisely and to join her as an immortal.
